Tonight in the Pacific Northwest we experienced a total eclipse of the moon. It started just after sundown (around 6:30 pm). Totality occurred about 7:30. I took this picture with my Sony DSC-P10 5 megapixel digital camera. The second one is from the NASA website for comparison.

Wow! I can't believe that you got such great pictures with just a digital camera!!
We also watched the eclipse here in Florida with good visibility. It was amazing.
